The Mayor’s Picnic plays a central part in raising the community spirit and is a fitting addition to the Romsey Festival. Individuals and families can enjoy an afternoon’s entertainment with groups playing on the bandstand, stalls, and activities organised by the Rotary Club of Romsey Test. You can help to raise money for various local charities too. Regular events in the popular afternoon include the duck race on the River Test, and obstacle course, raffles, draws and a variety of skills tests.
This year’s Mayor’s Picnic is subject to the Government’s Roadmap staying on track and no new restrictions being introduced. Planning has started and organisations are being contacted.
Additional safety precautions may be necessary to ensure that it as risk free as possible.
